Celebrating River for 5 years

River Phoenix was such a wonderful, humble person. He was so loving to all people and animals.

Even though he was incredibly famous, he insisted on living as normal a life as possible. He had such a raw talent, both in acting and singing, and each role he played was brought forward with such grace.

River was completely selfless in his charity work - he always wanted to help. His campaigning for such organisations as PETA was second to none.

He was a very special human being who touched so many peoples' lives and has left an everlasting mark on the world.

River Jude Phoenix - A bright shining star, now shining down on us all - from Heaven.

"Once, we were on the way to 'The Great Greek Restaurant' and he wanted to drive my car. As we were driving I said, "I gotta stop at my bank, I have to go to the ATM." So we are driving, here comes my bank. "There's my bank, there's my bank," I shouted. He keeps driving, and he doesn't stop. Now to River, that was his way of saying that he'll be paying for the meal. That was his way of doing it."
